Patients are tested using Bio-Electric Functions Diagnosis (BEFD). This method allows the practitioner to ‘see’ the condition of the organs in the body. It is used in Europe but is not widely used in the UK. It has been developed from Electro-Acupuncture according to Voll (EAV). Dr Reinhard Voll demonstrated that acupuncture points have a different resistance to a tiny electrical current passed through the body than the adjacent tissues. Through his research he realized that as well as ‘energising’ the organs, EAV could be used as a diagnostic tool to confirm the efficacy of medicines as well as confirming which pathogens are in the body causing his patients’ conditions.

BEFD measures the resistance to the flow of electricity along the meridian lines of the body as they pass through the organs and systems of the body. If there is resistance, that indicates there is inflammation or infection present in that particular area.

Your first visit will take up to two hours. During this time an in-depth consultation is carried out followed by readings from acupuncture points on your hands and feet. Depending on your condition you will be tested for various pathogens. Once we have identified what is causing your condition, you will be given the anti-version in the form of a homeopathic remedy (drops) which you add to water and drink daily. Taking the remedies for a few weeks weakens the pathogen until it is eliminated.

The remedies are safe to use alongside any medication. You can be treated for up to four pathogens at a time and you will need drainage remedies (lymphatic, urinary & digestive) to help the body eliminate any waste products released during the treatment.

A follow up appointment is needed to confirm that the pathogens have been successfully cleared from your body.
